xavier encinas is a french art director living and working in vancouver, bc. after graduating in 2003 with a master’s degree in new technologies, xavier started his career in graphic design, crafting websites for small companies, promoting art exhibitions and creating personal typography projects. in 2005, xavier was hired by univers poche, one of france’s biggest publishers of paperback books. to share his passion for typography and design, xavier launched his blog, swisslegacy, in february 2007. at the beginning of 2009, xavier became the graphic designer and partner of under the influence, a fashion and photography magazine out of paris.
