for our first book of 2009 we found the word BREAK on our minds. as usual we just gave the talented group of artists a simple definition to work from:
to reduce to pieces or fragments; to dissolve or annul; to lacerate or wound; to exchange for or divide into smaller units; to disable or destroy by or as if by shattering or crushing; an interruption
this book also includes two food-related projects by the curators of L&S and a quick look at how the artists take breaks.
